This is not mandatory in Canada but for technicians who acquire CPCP recognition it offers credentials that are creditable and have substance beyond a training certificate.

You do not need to become CPCP to join the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP) as a member. If you are not already a member, we encourage you to visit their website and become one.
